This thrilling and comprehensive 9 days 8 nights Kenya luxury safari will take you to Kenya's most evocative parks where you are highly likely to see the Big Five. Samburu will offer its unspoiled and untouched wilderness while at Ol Pejeta; you will visit the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees as well as the endangered black and white rhino. It is bound to be magical. This is a Private Tour where you will have exclusive use of our Custom Safari 4x4 Land Cruiser jeep.
Day 1:Nairobi "Safari Capital of the World"
Welcome to Magical Kenya. Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Expedition Kenya Safari Driver Guide followed by leisurely transfer to Nairobi's 5 Star Luxury Hotel The Villa Rosa Kempinski. This luxury 5 star hotel is located within Nairobi and is known to offer world class luxurious and elegant facilities as well as service. Enjoy the perfect fusion of European Luxury and Kenya's unsurpassed Hospitality. This will be the perfect place to relax and unwind in preparation for an epic Kenya Safari. Day 2: Samburu National Reserve "Where Nature Defies Itself"
Have an early morning breakfast and then early departure towards Samburu National Reserve. The scenic drive will take us through the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya and across the equator. Our first major rest stop will be along the section where the equator line passes through. This is a great photographic opportunity to have and to show friends back home. We anticipate to arrive for late lunch at Samburu Intrepids Camp located on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro River.
The location is simply breathtaking. Samburu Intrepids Camp consists of exclusive luxury deluxe tents providing a perfect view of the Ewaso Nyiro River where sometimes elephants or crocodiles come to lounge by the river banks. Our afternoon game drive is from 4 pm in our custom 4x4 Landcruiser jeep with a pop up roof for easy 360 degree game viewing. You will have exclusive use of our Landcruiser without mixing with strangers for the entire safari. Overnight is at Samburu Intrepids Camp.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve "Home Of The Special Five"
Today you have a full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive in search of the so called "Special Five" or "Northern Five" that are only found specific to this region north of the equator. The "Special Five" include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and the Gerenuk. The reserve is also home to the big cats namely the lion, leopard, and cheetah. It will be fun to note that the elephants exhibit a special reddish color at Samburu from dust bathing in the red soil that is characteristic of Samburu. Did you also know that the Samburu skies offer the best opportunity for Star Gazing? A tour of the Samburu would not be complete without visiting an authentic Samburu Village. The visit is complimentary at no extra charge. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary *OPTION A*
: Aberdare National Park *OPTION B*
Today will be another exciting day of our safari and after an early morning breakfast, we will depart Samburu and head for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to Two of the world's last remaining northern white rhino.
*Sudan passed away around March 2018 at the age of 45. He was unable to stand and suffered from a string of infections. He is survived by his daughter Najin and grand daughter Fatu. Suni who was Sudan's buddy, passed away in 2014. They had been relocated from a zoo in Czech republic in 2009.
We anticipate to arrive in time for lunch at the exclusive Sweetwaters Serena Luxury camp located inside the conservancy and overlooking a water hole that is a center of activity for some of the wildlife that come to quench their thirst.
Our afternoon Game Drive will start with a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we get to learn about their rescue stories as well as visit Baraka the Black Rhino. This should be super exciting since the conservancy has a higher wildlife to area ratio than any of the Kenya National Parks.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha Boat Excursion
Today we shall depart for Lake Naivasha for one of a kind unique experience. We anticipate to arrive in time for Lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort whose location by the lake is breathtaking. Our highlight of the day will be a one of a kind Boat Excursion on Lake Naivasha as well as a Walking Safari on nearby Crescent Island "Game Park". Words are not enough to describe the experience and hence one has to experience in order to enjoy. Lake Naivasha once played host to Joy Adamson, the naturalist and author who is probably best known for her book, 'Born Free', which described her experiences in raising Elsa, the lion cub who went on to achieve international fame.
It is also fun to know that the resort has its own resident giraffes, waterbuck, vervet and Colobus Monkeys as well as regular visits at night by the hippos who come to trim the grass! Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.

Day 6: Masai Mara Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserve
After a delicious early morning breakfast, we will depart for the legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve. Our scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley that spans from Syria to Mozambique is bound to be breathtaking. We anticipate to arrive at Ashnil Luxury Camp in time for late lunch. The luxury camp is located close to the Mara River and is considered to be the best location for game viewing.
first game drive in the legendary Masai Mara will begin at 4pm. The wildlife sightings are numerous and may include lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, zebra, plains game, black rhino, giraffe and various antelope species. The birdlife is prolific with over 450 different species. Excitement and pleasant wildlife surprises are plenty in the Mara. Don't forget to enjoy and take pictures of the one of a kind mesmerizing evening sunset in Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight is at Ashnil Mara Luxury Camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserve
Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with Safari Picnic Lunch Boxes to spend the entire day in the wilderness, or you can choose to have extended morning and late afternoon game drives. Safari Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Luxury Camp.

Day 8: Maasai Mara Africa's Greatest Wildlife Reserve
Today we will have an early morning breakfast followed by extended morning game drive. The rest of the morning and afternoon can be enjoyed at leisure within the camp grounds. Feel free to indulge at their magnificent pool or just enjoy cocktails at the bar. The afternoon game drive will be from 4 pm where we once more go to explore the wildlife and scenery of the Mara that never ceases to amaze. Overnight is at Ashnil Mara Luxury Camp.

Day 9:Nairobi Safari Capital Of The World
Early morning breakfast followed by departure towards Nairobi. Depending on your flight plans we might have either Lunch or Dinner reservations dubbed "the ultimate beast of a feast" at the world famous The Carnivore Restaurant . Enjoy skewers of game meat and regular meat served with delicious side dishes and sauces. For the vegetarians, other dinner reservations can be arranged. Transfer to JKIA by Expedition Kenya Safari Driver guide for connecting flight back home will follow after a spectacular Kenya Luxury Safari with Expedition Kenya Safari.
