Day 1: Nairobi Safari Capital Of the World WELCOME TO MAGICAL KENYA

Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Expedition Kenya Safari VIP Service Ambassador, followed by leisurely transfer to Kenya's Only All Suite Hotel famously known as the Nairobi Safari Club.

This will be the perfect place to unwind in readiness for your first day of safari next day.

Day 2: Hells Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha Boat Excursion

A day full of active adventure awaits as we depart for Hells Gate National Park after breakfast. Be ready to test your spirit of adventure as you will get the opportunity to hike, walk and bike while enjoying magnificent views and wildlife. The breath taking scenery has been the location for various Hollywood films such as Tomb Raider 2.

Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for several Kilometers before resting at a ranger's post. After a brief stop at the rangers post you leave the bikes and start a walking and hiking safari. Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge.

After a refreshing adventure, we shall depart for Lake Naivasha for lunch at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Our next highlight of the day will be a one of a kind Boat Excursion on Lake Naivasha as well as a Walking Safari on nearby Crescent Island "Game Park". Words are not enough to describe the experience and hence one has to experience in order to enjoy. Lake Naivasha once played host to Joy Adamson, the naturalist and author who is probably best known for her book, 'Born Free', which described her experiences in raising Elsa, the lion cub who went on to achieve international fame.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy "Highest Wildlife Density and Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary"

Early Morning breakfast followed by departure towards Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to the world's last remaining northern white rhino.

Rest stops will be provided along the way.

We anticipate to arrive in time for lunch at the exclusive Sweetwaters Serena camp located inside the conservancy and overlooking a water hole that is a center of activity for some of the wildlife that come to quench their thirst.

Our afternoon Game Drive will start with a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we get to learn about their rescue stories as well as visit Baraka the blind Black Rhino. Baraka can be fed from the specially designed feeding platform that borders his enclosure offering visitors a unique experience and a chance to get up close and personal to an adult black rhino.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy "Highest Wildlife Density and Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary"

Early morning extended game drive followed by Breakfast. On a clear morning, you might observe the snowy peaks of Kenya's Highest mountain known as Mt Kenya.

In between the game drives, feel free to lounge at the pool with your favorite cocktail.

Another exciting Game Drive is scheduled from 4 pm. With the snowy peaks of Mt. Kenya as your backdrop, your safari in East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary is sure to be as beautiful as it is diverse. Immerse yourself in the Big Five as you explore 90,000 acres of pure wild!

Day 5: Ragati Conservancy "Kenya's No. 1 Fly Fishing Destination for Trout"

After breakfast we shall head to Ragati Conservancy the perfect gateway for nature lovers and fly fishing enthusiasts. Ragati Conservancy lies on the Southern slopes of Mt. Kenya It's ecosystem includes the Ragati river and its tributaries, and is home to an abundance of wildlife

The river is an ideal habitat for rainbow trout, providing a fantastic opportunity to fish in crystal clear mountain tributaries running through pristine forest.

For our accommodation, you shall enjoy the rugged and rustic Ndongoro Log Cabin. This is your ultimate eco-lodge, being built entirely from sustainable materials and using sustainable methods to collect water, generate electricity and hot water and also to deal with waste.

Day 6: Ragati Conservancy "Kenya's No. 1 Fly Fishing Destination for Trout"

A day full of flying fishing awaits. It will also be good to know that Ragati is in a forest known for it's diverse bird and wildlife. Walking safaris are ideal for experiencing the surrounding beauty.

Day 10: Samburu National Reserve "Home of the Special Five"

After an early morning breakfast we shall depart for Samburu National Reserve. The scenic drive will take us through the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya and across the equator.

Rest stops will be provided along the way.

We anticipate to arrive for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge built atop high ground allowing for panoramic views of vast Samburu.

Our afternoon game will begin at 4 pm and it will give us the opportunity to see wildlife that can only be found in this section of Kenya's northern frontier.

Day 11: Samburu National Reserve "Home of the Special Five"

Today you have a full day in Samburu, with an extended morning game drive and afternoon game drive in search of the so called "Special Five" or "Northern Five" that are only found specific to this region north of the equator. The "Special Five" include the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and the Gerenuk. The reserve is also home to the big cats namely the lion, leopard, and cheetah. It will be fun to note that the elephants exhibit a special reddish color at Samburu from dust bathing in the red soil that is characteristic of Samburu.

Did you also know that the Samburu skies offer the best opportunity for Star Gazing.

Day 12: Nairobi Departure

After an epic stay and experience at the Samburu, we will depart for the vibrant city of Nairobi after breakfast.

Exciting dining (Lunch) reservations at the world famous The Carnivore Restaurant will follow. Enjoy skewers of Game meat as well as Regular meat served with delicious side dishes and sauces.

Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your connecting flight home will follow later on after an enchanting action packed adventure safari with Expedition Kenya Safari.

An adventure of a lifetime!

This was my first safari. I had no idea what to expect. As it turned out ......an adventure of my life! We saw the most amazing animals doing what they do. Three lionesses and their five cubs taking down a buffalo--it was amazing to see it with my own eyes! We saw a huge herd of elephants, which we were told was the biggest they had seen together. Zebras crossing!!!! Giraffes just wandering. A leopard sleeping in a tree while we ate our lunch. Cheetahs! One walked right in front of our truck. Hyenas waiting for a lion to finish its meal of a hippo. Dik dik, thommies and many other animals and birds that I never knew existed!I loved where we stayed, very African looking, helpful, friendly staff. Food was lovely & fresh. A good experience all round.Expedition Kenya Safari were very helpful. They fulfilled all my expectations and gave me an adventure of my life time! I would not hesitate to recommended Expedition Kenya Safari to anyone wanting a genuine, hassle-free, African safari experience.
